Natural History Museum

Most of the photos I took at the Natural History Museum are for the Stuff That! section of this website, but these are the remaining non-taxidermy photos.

The superspheres are made by placing a single TV set at the end of a corridor of angled mirrors. As the mirrors reflect off each other, the reflections wrap round to give the impression that you're looking at a sphere of of TV screens. They did have a huge one made of about 25 screens, but sadly it was too big to photograph.
