This animation is made up of two photographs; for the first, Jeremy posed next to the empty milk bottle. For the second shot, we replaced the empty milk bottle with a full one, and did a double exposure on a single frame, one with Jeremy in place, one with her out of shot, making her appear transparent. The idea is: transparent milk bottle, opaque Jeremy, opaque milk bottle, transparent Jeremy.

I'd just intended to display the two images side by side, but Jeremy turned it into a GIF animation for me.

Though there are lots of technical problems to overcome in making such a shot, the most difficult bit for me was stopping myself drinking the contents of the full bottle the night before the shoot!
